Original artwork description
We make regular visits to Suffolk every Spring and Autumn and were fortunate to find this Spring's trip warm and sunny. I made this painting from the seats near the pleasure boats overlooking wide meandering river at fairly high tide. Iken Church can be seen in the distance. I was enchanted by the two Little Egrets pacing up and down the waters edge, fishing.
Materials used:
Windsor & Newton artist quality watercolours; Cobolt Blue, Light Red, Raw Sienna and a touch of Paynes Grey on Bockingford 200lb Not HP watercolour paper.
