This is a series of 14 large [30x24 inches each] paintings of scenes from Coleridge's poem 'Rime of the ancient mariner'

I have loved the poem since reading it at school, and finally painted it as a project, using many sketches and trial ideas.

All paintings acrylic on canvas, unframed.
Can be supplied with wire, or mirror clips, ready to hang

'Bookended' by 2 monochrome paintings of the mariner meeting and leaving the wedding guest, to whom he tells his incredible tale,
the mariner's tale is told in 12 coloured scenes, so can be displayed as 12x1, 6x2, 3x4 etc, with numbers 1 and 14 'bookending' the tale.

Each painting includes quotes from the poem about the scene, in old english script on parchment paper

The series would suit display in a large space, eg a hall, university literature department, etc

Delivery would probably have to be collection [Worcester], delivery or meeting, with buyer covering for transport costs.
Or I could make enquiries about postage by courier, with seller covering the cost.
