This work explores a moment of inner tension and silent resistance. A sharp diagonal cuts through the canvas, creating a sense of rupture — not as destruction, but as transformation. Natural stones are embedded at points of highest strain, symbolizing resilience forged under pressure.
The textured surface, with its contrast of density and openness, smoothness and roughness, highlights the balance between fragility and strength. It is a visual statement on transformation — how a fracture can become a foundation, and instability a source of structure.
The painting is made with acrylic, texture paste, and natural gemstones (quartz, azurite) on canvas.
