This diptych revolves around the theme of inner tension and resilience. Fractured diagonals cut through both compositions, generating a dynamic interplay of rupture and continuity. The integration of natural stones reinforces the metaphor of strength emerging from points of fracture. The contrast between smooth surfaces, rough textures, and embedded stones establishes a fragile equilibrium between vulnerability and stability. The work combines strict geometry and minimalism with the expressive tactility of materials, forming a unified visual and conceptual whole.
The painting is a diptych created with acrylic, texture paste, and natural gemstones (quartz) on canvas. Each panel measures 30×40 cm with a depth of 4,5 cm. The total size of the diptych when displayed together is 60×40 cm. The edges are painted to match the composition.
For protection, the surface is coated with a satin varnish. It will be shipped ready to hang, securely packed in a cardboard box.
