Reminiscent of the mountains and tarns of his home county and the Lake District, Ridge above bracken is left open to interpretation with its abstraced treatment. Painted on canvas and float mounted in a white frame, Paul has used subtle blends of colour together with distinctive markmaking and impasto palette knife work.
