Original artwork description
I painted this piece to capture the fleeting moment of a cowboy galloping through the open range—a symbol of solitude and freedom. I used bold, expressive colors to render the vastness and emotion of the sky and land. The clouds swirl like a mirror of inner feeling, enhancing the cowboy’s quiet strength. The motion of the horse and rider was central to my focus—I used dynamic brushstrokes and splattered paint to evoke speed and power. I deliberately obscured the rider’s face, inviting viewers to focus on the spiritual bond between man and horse.
