Reverie VIII is an abstract meditation on memory, emotion, and quiet transformation. Built through layered textures and intuitive mark-making, the surface unfolds like a weathered landscape or a half-remembered dream.

Warm golds and ochres form a grounding base, evoking earth, time, and resilience. Above this foundation, softer veils of pastel pinks, greens, blues, and whites drift and scatter, creating a sense of movement and lightness. Flecks, scratches, and subtle line work punctuate the surface, inviting close inspection and rewarding slower looking.

There is no fixed narrative; instead, the painting offers space for reflection, allowing the viewer’s own emotions and memories to surface.

Reverie VIII is part of an ongoing series exploring inner states, liminal moments, and the quiet poetry of abstraction. It is a contemplative work that brings warmth and depth to a space, shifting subtly with light and perspective.
