Acrylic paint, spray paint, sand on canvas
A minimalist and architectural selection of earth tones, chalky whites, and subtle cerulean-greys. Scratching and subtraction to reveal underlying layers, while delicate vertical drippings at the bottom introduce a sense of gravity and controlled imperfection. Through a constant process of layering and subtraction, I don't want merely "paint" the canvas but excavates it, seeking to bring submerged memories and atmospheres suspended in time back to the surface.
