“Renaissance” was inspired by the subtle power of silent resistance. In this portrait, the turned head and composed posture express a quiet refusal — a moment of inner defiance without the need for words. I was drawn to the emotional tension that exists beneath stillness, where gesture and light become a language of their own. Using layered brushstrokes and a muted color palette, I aimed to reflect the complexity of boundaries, identity, and the strength found in self-restraint.
