"Remote Work"
120x120 cm
Canvas/acrylic/oil
2025
A room without a ceiling in the desert is a metaphor for an open space office. The ironic inscription sounds like a meme and a diagnosis: work has moved inside the body, inside the house, becoming invisible, but no less exhausting.
The work reveals the ambivalence of remote employment - on the one hand, freedom and flexibility, on the other - the loss of boundaries, loneliness and emotional burnout. This is not an office. And no longer a home. This is a new scene of work, where the personal becomes public, and the bed - a workplace.
