Another oldy from 2004, a colour zone painting.
Antinoos was the young favourite of Roman emperor Hadrian. He died on a boat trip on the river Nile at a very young age. After his death Hadrian initiated a religious cult about Antinoos. He commissioned several temples to worship him and lots of busts and statues.
The edges of this painting are painted and so it is ready to hang without framing.
