"Regatta" is an impressionistic oil etude painting 25*35cm, created en plein air from nature in summer 2021 in the Black sea in Sochi, Crimea, Russia.

This impressionist oil painting captures the vibrant energy of the sea. Rich turquoise and deep blue tones convey freshness and depth, while bold palette knife strokes reflect the motion of crashing waves. In the distance, sailboats appear on the horizon — symbols of freedom, adventure, and the eternal pursuit of new horizons. The canvas is filled with light, movement, and the breath of nature, inviting the viewer to hear the sound of the surf and feel the ocean breeze.
