Often, the color grey is overlooked or underrated. For me as an artist, I see the
Infinite possibilities – it can be applied as reflections, fog, mist and shadow. It is the perfect companion in creating paintings based in nature. Brushstrokes are varied — some are broad and sweeping, giving a sense of fluidity, while others are more deliberate, almost calligraphic, contributing layers of texture and depth. The spontaneity of the marks generates a lively rhythm, which contrasts beautifully with the gentler areas where colors meld harmoniously. This tension invites prolonged contemplation, encouraging the audience to find their own narratives within the layers.
