This painting was made during the most acute days of restrictions and quarantine due to the Pandemic in 2020. Nazabal used as a model for the work a semi-dim photo of himself taken in front of the mirror while doing his daily physical exercises.
I never loved the horizon so much as when the walls closed my steps.
