Original artwork description
A generous bunch of tulips, lovely early summer colours; I dropped these into a squat glass vase and placed them in bright sunlight on the kitchen windowsill. They're lovely to paint, first working out the complications of stalks and leaves, then building up the brilliant colours of each flower.
This painting will be framed with a simple black wooden moulding (not shown in the photos). The dimensions with frame will be: 22" x 18" x 2".
