Sunset over a broad expanse of water.
This could be St Johns river in Florida? or somewhere closer to home.
It's a memory of all the sunsets I've loved rolled into one.
Scratched, rubbed and painted on a wooden panel.
My inspiration is derived from the picturesque coastal vistas I've had the privilege to witness, or the tranquil embrace of the forests and fields that lie just beyond my doorstep, my art serves as a homage to the majesty of our natural surroundings.
Through my art, I invite you to join me on a journey of reflection and contemplation, to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and sensations that have shaped my artistic vision.
While I do revel in the practical advantages of acrylics and their swift drying time, my creative process is far from impulsive.
Each brushstroke is imbued with intentionality, each hue meticulously chosen to evoke a specific emotion or memory.
