Original artwork description
A modest bunch of roses, but these had a delicious scent. When I paint, I work at the easel and every so often go up close to the subject to see a detail; in this case, it was also an excuse to inhale deeply.
I put these on our Eileen Gray coffee table beside the kitchen window to catch some early sun.
This painting will be framed with a simple black wooden frame.
