Original artwork description
Bold and colorful abstract that was done with acrylic and mixed media on heavy paper in shades of orange, pink, yellow and violet with layers of expressive mark making. It is sealed with a satin protective finish, so it can be easily applied to a board for framing without glass or, matted and framed under glass.
It is signed on the front and back along with the title and date created.
I name my pieces by what occurred while painting or after finishing the piece. This piece reminded me of pink sunsets over red canyons. Hiking the trails and kicking up the dust.
