Original artwork description
This original artwork is a refined botanical study of a red tulip, painted from life in my studio.
The piece was inspired by a bouquet of fresh tulips whose sculptural form and насыщенный colour immediately drew my attention. Working directly from observation, I captured the flower at the height of its bloom — a moment where structure, movement, and fragility exist in perfect balance.
Particular attention is given to the nuanced modulation of red tones and the intricate architecture of the petals, revealing both the inner rhythm of the flower and its natural elegance. The composition is intentionally minimal, allowing the subject to emerge with clarity and quiet presence against the white space.
Executed with a focus on precision and sensitivity, this work sits within the tradition of contemporary botanical art, where scientific observation meets aesthetic refinement.
The rich red palette gives the piece a strong visual identity, making it especially suited as a sophisticated focal point within an interior. It can function as a subtle yet powerful accent — adding depth, warmth, and a cultivated artistic presence to a space.
This artwork is ideal for collectors who appreciate botanical subjects, fine detail, and a contemplative approach to nature.
My work is a unique and original handmade piece.
It is painted on high-quality, 100% cotton paper specially made for watercolor by the world’s best manufacturers, with a density of 300 grams per square meter. I also use the finest professional paints in my work.
