Original artwork description
Intense physical gestures were used to throw paint for two hours until the piece was covered. A red monochrome colour palette and medium sized brushes were used. As the layers dripped, it softened each of the hits, blending the appearance.
This is part of the artist’s ongoing self reflection practice, where he would paint for a few hours intuitively, and allow his current mood, along with his perception of the day/moment to flow through himself.
