Interior portrait of a young african woman. The portrait is made in topical black, white, gray and gold colors.
Contrast of dark and bright gold, as well as contrast of textures - shaded and pasty, and the contrast of styles - realism of portrait and abstract strokes of a spatula - makes this picture particularly interesting.
Woman's gaze comes as if through times and centuries. You feel recognition of someone native. Bright gold reproduces movement, dynamics. And the portrait of girl is like statics, which has always been. It's about what the soul really is, under glare and variability of this world. This is how I perceive what I depicted in this picture.
