A cubist-inspired still life in oil on canvas, where a seated figure in violet robes dissolves into faceted planes of ochre, brown, and rose. Bold black-and-white outlines frame each form against a backdrop of striped fabric in jewel tones, while a single daisy and an open book rest in golden hands. Above, a garland of grapevine — leaves rimmed in coral red, clusters of blue fruit — cascades down a slender stem, its decorative rhythm echoing Armenian folk ornament. Flattened geometry and warm, layered color create a contemplative scene of quiet reading and gathered harvest.
