In Raw Light, I aimed to explore the moment where emotional vulnerability meets unfiltered color. I used a bold mix of crimson, orange, turquoise, and electric blue to express the clash between inner stillness and external chaos. The nude figure, painted with serene introspection and ethereal tones, rises against a pulsating, abstract background that mirrors her emotional state.
This painting was born from a deep urge to capture what it feels like to be completely exposed—not only in body, but in truth. I didn’t want to paint a perfect pose. I wanted to paint presence. I wanted to strip away any artifice and allow light to fall on something raw, real, and quietly powerful.
Created in my signature expressionist style, Raw Light fuses color and emotion to celebrate the strength found in softness. It speaks to collectors who crave art that is both visually vibrant and deeply intimate.
