Around Thanksgiving I was leaving church and saw these umbrellas outside the building. It reminded me of the different people making a community.

MATERIALS: Oil painting on canvas. The artist aimed to recreate the smooth glass-like quality of some classical paints while still giving it energy. This piece was created with finely-ground, pure oil paints with an Alkyd based medium.
