Original artwork description
I painted this over a long period during lockdown in the UK. Small streaks were added on numerous occasions until it looked right and then I had to choose a title. At the time we were having a very wet May and the painting brought back memories of figures hurrying in the rain in London, so "Rainy Day in London" seemed right. The palette is dominated by blues and greys.
It works well at a variety of viewing distances and is ready to hang.

Acrylic paint applied with brushes and palette knives
