Original artwork description
My studio has been awash with pinks.... And this is the result ....A 'Rainbow of Pinks' which was ordered by commission. I am happy to remake a version of this or in different colours.
I have used beautiful cards and wallpapers with glitters and sheens which allow light to bounce off to lovely effect; including of course my single signature 24crt Gold Leaf butterfly.
Every butterfly is hand punched and folded and glued with precision to create order and symmetry. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows and changes in different light settings.
Fully framed in a white box frame with Plexiglas XT 0A000 manufactured by Rohm. This material is the highest quality available and offers approximately 7 times more UV protection than glass and is shatter proof.
