Original artwork description:

Rabbit Bush is a common shrub in the American Southwest. It's dense growing habit provides a perfect shelter from predators. The plants' yellow flower heads go to seed glowing white in the low light of autumn. I used oil pastel and water based ink, playfully manipulating the incompatibility of the two.

Materials used:

Ink and oil pastel on acid free paper
