Gorillas exist only in Africa. Two species of gorillas are distinguished, the western and the eastern gorilla... There is good news about the mountain gorilla: it is the only gorilla species whose numbers have increased slightly in recent years, but at least - thanks to intensive conservation efforts and anti-poaching work.
