Original artwork description
An abstract piece with layers of oil paint applied with a palette knife. I felt the need to work a little more unrestrained with this work and back to explore working with more abstraction and working with oil. The piece is inspired by mood rather than imagery.
Like all my pieces the work is highly textured to lend 'feel' to the work. The canvas is painted around the edges in a complementary colours and is ready for hanging.
