"Quiet Horizon" is an expression of sea and surf towards the evening. I'm always inspired by the coast and the beautiful blues of the ocean, the white rolling surf and windswept sky. I love the sea finding the rhythmical waves very exhilarating always taking a sketchbook to the beach to capture the mood.

Painted in mixed media on a deep edged canvas "Quiet Horizon" is an original work of art and one of a kind. The painting is in mixed media and to create texture I have used some sand from the beach, which I mixed into the paint while I was working. The painting continues round the sides and is ready to hang.
