Original artwork description
This painting is called 'The Changing of the Guard' as it depicts the Queen's guards at Buckingham Palace. The inspiration for this painting arose from two current themes in my work - one focused on painting in black and white with a red accent and the other on iconic Britain.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is sold in a handmade wooden frame, painted charcoal colour, ready to hang.
The painting measures 18" (H) x 26" (W) (45.72 x 66 cm).
All paintings are carefully wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
