In this painting I isolated the facade of an urban building, reducing it to pure geometric planes. The magenta of the wall, the arched windows opening onto green and blue, the color fields in the background — everything starts from a photograph, decomposed and reinterpreted until it finds its own formal independence. I am not narrating the city: I am searching for its hidden structure.
