Wisteria grows around three sides of my courtyard. At this time of year it is a shower of purple, cascading down the walls of the old house. The air is thick with a heady perfume, trapped in the enclosed space. And then within a week it is gone. Well worth recording in this painting, which is unframed but sold with a mount and backing board.
A true celebration of Spring!
