This is another iris I love...dark purple. I like the bright blue sky behind it. It is iris season. My miniature iris are just starting to bud. Yahoo!
I drew this image onto linoleum, carved out the negative space, printed the positive space onto white printing paper and colored the image in with watercolor and gouache!
