Original artwork description
Purple falls is an impressionistic mountain fantasy landscape with a waterfall inspired by the hills and glens of Scotland. In this mountainous scene with a dramatic cloudy sky blowing across the tops of the hills and the bracken and heather of the lower slopes of the hillside, I have tied to convey the atmosphere and changing weather of the highlands of Scotland, or other wild rugged areas of the British countryside, like the English Lake District or the Welsh mountains.
Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife.
Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

Will require a signature on delivery.
