DESCRIPTION

This painting is part of my series, 'Vegetable Geometry,' where I explore how complex and beautiful forms can be found in the simplest things. The inspiration for this piece came from a still life where the soft, rounded shapes of pumpkins and apples create a fascinating dialogue with the sharp, straight lines of the background. It is more than just a depiction of fruits—it's an attempt to reveal their inherent geometry.

The soft side light highlights the texture of each pumpkin, revealing unique patterns and spots. My goal was to capture how light and shadow transform ordinary objects into a play of forms and lines, inviting the viewer to see everyday beauty from a fresh perspective. Every shadow and every highlight on the surface is an element of this 'Pumpkin Geometry.'

Painted in oil, this piece allowed me to create deep, saturated colors and smooth transitions between light and dark areas. It's a meditative study of color and form that I hope will bring a sense of comfort and serenity to your home.
