I'm now releasing this painting for sale,as up until now it has been on exhibition. It was selected as finalist in the prestigous David Shepherd international wildlife exhibition at the Mall galleries, London.
This Puma painting is amongst a handful of paintings that I consider amongst the best of my artwork, and is very imposing in real life due to it's size. I use a watercolour technique when using acrylics,so there's little over painting in this painting
Please note,I choose to paint on heavyweight water colour paper,as it suits my style of painting. Also, once my paintings are framed behind glass they are protected from atmospheric grime for life, unlike oil paintings that can accumulate grime which dulls the colours over a period of time.
