Original artwork description:

‘Red lights, No hurry’ is an oil painting on canvas in which I tried to capture a rain-soaked city at dusk, where brake lights and lit windows soften into drifting bands of colour across wet tarmac. I kept the brush and palette knife work loose so that buildings and traffic blur into one another, echoing the way a street feels in the rain. It’s a quiet, reflective moment, drawn from an ordinary scene and shaped into something gently atmospheric.

Materials used:

Oil on stretched canvas
