The circular canvas, the tondo, is a painting format used in previous centuries. The exuberant semi-abstract floral subject is inspired by old charming wallpapers. The "old-fashioned floral" side, the "floral seedlings" that were fashionable a long time ago, are revisited with the modern "pop" touch of acid colors. The subject lends itself well to the vivid gesture, to the artistic expression, with the details of forms, pure and saturated colors representing the natural vegetal profusion. The artistic style is spontaneous, "baroque" and lively, mixing impressionism and contemporary painting.
