This is a commissioned work for a collector from U.S. who wish a recreation of my palette knife abstract impressionist landscape from 2012 entitled '' Sunflowers and lavender fields with Cypress trees at sunset '' .
'' Provence colors '' is a textural impressionist impasto palette knife oil painting on stretched canvas, 40 x 40 cm, depth - 2.5 cm.
In this painting it's all about fond and soulful memories of my first travel in Provence in 1990 when I was in France with my grandparents. Endless yellow and blueish purple fields of sunflowers and lavender and expressive guardians the Cypress trees.
