Original artwork description:

"Profondo" means deep in Italian, I'm trying to learn Italian and my interpretation is that it could mean depth, like looking into water or a pond, or more like profound, deep and meaningful. For me the painting is about looking into the landscape of my mind, over a long period, so there were many changes, I cannot even remember where it started from. This was painted mainly at night and using a lot of layers of Dammar glaze to get the depth, frustratingly slow because it was so cold. Edges painted black so it doesn't need framing, although it could be framed.

Materials used:

oil on wooden panel, edges painted black.
