This piece began on a winter evening when the studio was lit only by a single warm lamp and the last violet tones of dusk at the window. A humble still-life setup—a glass, two pomegranates, a folded cloth—suddenly transformed when the lamp caught the wine and turned it into a living ember.
The seeds were painted last, one by one, like counting quiet blessings, until their scattered sparkle felt as alive as the reflection on the glass.

A rich glass of red wine glows like a small sunset amid ruby pomegranate seeds, inviting the eye to linger and the senses to awaken. This still life celebrates abundance, warmth, and the quiet luxury of an unhurried evening.

Saturated crimsons and deep violets create a dramatic chiaroscuro, where light pools in the bowl of the glass and flickers across the scattered arils like sparks.
