Postminimalism includes elements of minimalism, but it can add tactility, emotionality, or conceptual overtones that go beyond strict geometric abstraction.
Mica is a symbol of our time and not only ours, it is a global problem for everyone, a film on our inner freedom, through which not everyone can get out, the fact is that the greater its density, the fewer opportunities there are to understand everything that is happening. 
But the reason it seems to have a pattern is that overcoming it is not a pattern that we are used to, but a personal, individual, ambitious step that contradicts itself, perhaps its nature, which is a key stage for each of us, but unfortunately not everyone can understand and accept it.
