Original artwork description
This painting contrasts contemporary fashion with a vast, sunlit desert, emphasizing the clash between modern style and an untouched, remote landscape. Two young women—one in a bold "SHIT HAPPEN" T-shirt and casual attire, the other in a sleek black leather jacket and jeans—walk through the barren terrain. The background features a sign reading "TERRITORIO INDIGENA RECINTO PRIVADO," adding cultural and political commentary. The artwork blends modern individuality with a sense of isolation, prompting reflection on the impact of contemporary lifestyles on traditional and sacred spaces.
For texture before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it. Artwork is signed and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
