This color field painting uses rust, yellow, taupe, and black with a hint of red and blue. There are layers of color to give it texture and interest comes from mark making. There are two rounded shapes to be left to interpretation by the viewer. Rocks? Sun? At the bottom left is my signature metallic rust washer next to my initials “K.M.”
