Postal Avenue, Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine

As a landscape painter, I would like to capture the urban atmosphere of Kryvyi Rih, a city in Ukraine, with a view of the buildings above and Postal Avenue. I see this place in the city centre as the liveliest location where life is in full swing, and where you can see a large number of people, coffee shops, various events, interesting activities, exhibitions, etc.

The painting shows several large buildings coexisting with each other along Postal Avenue. I try to convey every detail of the buildings - windows, doors, roofs, etc. The shades of grey, brown and white reflected on the ground represent the roads and sidewalks.

In this painting, I used professional watercolor markers, a brush with a water tank and watercolors.
To convey the depth of the cityscape, I add details to the painting, such as car prints on the roads, road signs, trees and other details that can be seen in the cityscape.

Cityscape Painting - Since I love to paint Cityscapes. Of course, I take most of the beautiful places from my travels, because they open my eyes to the beauty of the world, new places, color of the city, architecture, old buildings and much more.

My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.

Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.
