Large-sized artwork depicting an artist, Dmitry Zakunov reading R. Bart's essay in my studio. Dmitry Zakunov is an art-photographer who works in the chronophotography technique, which is based on long exposure shooting. He creates photodynamic compositions that address the state of sleep, hallucinations, subconscious images, reconstructing space according to new patterns. Dmitry was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, and studied photography at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA. In this artwork, painted in the classical manner of oil painting, I combine a portrait and a still life. The painting belongs to a series of large-sized realistic paintings and will be dispatched rolled in an enforced tube. All necessary papers including the Certificate of Authenticity are added to the parcel.
