Original artwork description
Inspired by colorful reflections of boats in the picturesque harbor of beautiful Portofino, Italy. I remember walking along the harbour, mesmerized by how the reflections merged and morphed into one another. It looked as if someone spilled paint in the water. The name on the boat is Cigno, which translates to Swan, and which I think is fitting for this gently floating scene of boats on the water.
Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 20" x 32" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting.
