This painting was born from a feeling of transition.
“Portal” is not about a physical door — it is about the invisible threshold we cross inside ourselves. There are moments in life when we stand between what was and what is coming. This work holds that exact pause.
Through layered textures and contrasting light, I wanted to create depth — a space that feels both mysterious and inviting. The darker tones represent uncertainty, while the light breaking through is clarity, courage, and movement forward.
For me, this piece is about stepping into a new version of yourself. It is about trust — even when you cannot fully see what is ahead.
