Red poppies are fascinating: on the one hand, their red coloring makes them strong and brave, and on the other hand, their special design makes them easily recognizable, as beautiful as they are delicate and vulnerable. The complexity of the poppy is also reflected in its meaning in different cultures: it ranges from romantic love and passion to sleep and transience, memory and comfort or peace and reconstruction.

For this floral painting with its life-affirming character, I naturally mixed red tones on my palette, as well as (grassy)green, (sky)blue, yellow, magenta and white.

It was painted with professional acrylic paint on canvas. Stretched on a wooden frame. The sides are painted, so the painting is ready to hang. You get a certificate of authenticity.
